160526 ISO 2015 Quality Policy

Our philosophy continues to focus on supplying products that satisfy our customers, fulfilling the requirements set out in the agreements and orders we have in place with them. To this end, we use every resource available to us to make sure we apply the right working methods and processes to enable us to supply reliable products that fulfil the specific requirements of each case, and that always comply with the legislation in force on the telecommunications sector.

Our policy includes our goal to ensure continuous improvement, oriented towards good corporate environmental behaviour. This concerns how we work, our internal management processes, the training we give the people who work for SATLINK and our company image.
Key aspects of our business are reducing the time we take to respond to our customers, having reliable suppliers and offering products that are fit for purpose.
An essential part of our activity is cultivating beneficial relationships with suppliers. We depend on each other and having mutually satisfactory relationships increases the value of our organisation.

To put our policy into practice, we currently have a quality and environmental system based on the UNE-EN-ISO 9001 and UNE-EN 9100 standards.
Our purpose is to optimise operations and manage them effectively, to make sure we achieve the goals we set each year. Like in all areas of management, to achieve this, our managers have to properly plan the changes, apply them and consolidate them, and the different heads of department are responsible for this. They must also create an internal climate that encourages employees to participate, get involved in the different processes and collaborate in achieving the goals set.

We have the following priorities:

1.- Customer focus: we know we depend on our customers. That is why we want to discover their needs, satisfy their requirements as far as possible and, if we can, exceed their expectations. We take measures to check their level of satisfaction.

2.- Process-based focus: studying and improving our internal processes, connecting them to external ones and making them more effective.

3.- Focus based on compiling data to improve decision-making that affects the management system. To this end, it is necessary to maintain the habit of filling in the relevant forms and obtaining the most objective information.

4.- Awareness and application of legal requirements, compliance with legal requirements and applicable regulations, any other environmental requirements that may exist, and any other commitments the organisation may undertake.

5.- Placing the necessary priority on preventing errors and defects is the only way to improve our service quality and environmental performance.

6.- Consistently identifying and assessing the environmental aspects inherent in our activities, to discover their nature, magnitude and incidence.

7.- Ensuring good communications and collaboration with the authorities, public and private entities and other stakeholders, when this is necessary, in everything related to environmental management.

8.- Informing possible suppliers and subcontractors about the environmental and quality requirements inherent in the services provided, and establishing measures to ensure compliance.

Furthermore, and in more general terms: maintaining good practices aimed at preventing and reducing pollution and minimising the most significant environmental aspects, in addition to any possible emissions, waste and dangerous residues, to avoid and minimise damage to the environment as a consequence of our activities.

Management undertakes to use the means available to it to impart, explain and maintain the contents of the current quality and environmental policy, and to periodically check and monitor it.

We are always conscious of our objective to take action to prevent pollution and progressively intensify our good environmental behaviour. In this regard, when reviewing the Management System, Management establishes specific objectives and goals derived from this Policy, which must be understood, implemented and kept up to date by everyone that forms part of this company, at the corresponding level.

The SATLINK Integrated Management System is based on the requirements of the UNE-EN-ISO 9001 and EN 9100/10 standards, depending on the offices, and is equipped with criteria to ensure organised workflows and apply the necessary internal processes to cover SATLINK’s external needs towards its customers and other stakeholders.
