Our History
1992
Foundation
Satlink is founded in Spain to develop its activity in the emerging satellite communications market.
2000
VMS
Satlink develops its first VMS (Vessel Monitoring System) for the Spanish General Secretariat of Fisheries.
2002
DSF satellite
In 2002, Satlink launches the first satellite buoy.
2005
ECHO SOUNDER DSF
Echo sounder DSF
Satlink once again shakes the market with the first DSF (Device for Sustainable Fishing) using echo sounder.
2006-2008
EXPANSION
Satlink opens its first international offices in Seychelles and Ecuador.
2014
EM
Satlink develops TunaTube, the first Electronic Monitoring (EM) solution.
2016
INNOVATION
Satlink is recognized as one of Europe’s Top 1,000 innovative companies.
Satlink expands in Galicia with the acquisition of ERB (Electrónica Rías Bajas).
2020
ASIA
Satlink reaffirms its presence in Asia by opening its subsidiary Satlink Asia, based in Korea and Taiwan, and in the US, with its subsidiary Satlink US, LLC.
