Who is responsible for how your data is processed?
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), and with the rest of the applicable legislation on the matter, you are informed that the personal data you provide us with will be processed by Satlink S.L., with tax code B-80414634, and registered offices at Carretera de Fuencarral, Arbea Campus Empresarial, Edificio 5, Planta baja, 28108, Alcobendas, Madrid.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process your data?
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Contact: The purpose of the processing is to manage and respond to your requests. The lawfulness of said processing is based on the express consent that you give when sending your request (art. 6.1 a) GDPR).
  • Commercial communications: Satlink S.L. may occasionally send you commercial communications about its products and services. The lawfulness of said communications is based on express consent (art. 6.1 a) GDPR) in the case of data subjects who are not Satlink S.L. customers, and on legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f) GDPR) in the case of Satlink S.L. customers.
  • Potential customers: Satlink S.L. may process the data and contact details that identifies you in order to maintain relations of any kind, and to inform you about said company’s products or services, at your request or with your permission. The lawfulness of said processing is based on the express consent (art. 6.1 a) GDPR) given by potential customers who are natural persons, and by the legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f) GDPR) binding the parties, in relation to art. 19 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, in the case of representatives of potential customers who are legal persons.
  • Customers: Satlink S.L. processes the data of its customers for the purpose of managing the contractual relationship between the parties. The lawfulness of said processing is based on compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1 c) GDPR) and on the legitimate interest that binds the parties (art. 6.1 f) GDPR), in relation to art. 19 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights.
  • Suppliers and partners: Satlink S.L. processes the data of its suppliers and partners for the purpose of managing the contractual relationship between the parties. The lawfulness of said processing is based on the performance of a contract (art. 6.1 b) GDPR) and the fulfilment of legal obligations (art. 6.1 c) GDPR). In the case of representatives of suppliers/partners who are legal persons, the legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f) GDPR) that binds the parties, in relation to art. 19 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights, shall also apply.
  • Job applicants: If you have sent your CV to enter our personnel selection processes, Satlink S.L. will process your data for this sole purpose. The lawfulness of said processing is based on the express consent given by candidates when sending their CV (art. 6.1 a) GDPR).
  • Exercising rights and managing privacy: Satlink S.L. may process your data for the purpose of managing your requests to exercise your data protection rights, or for any other purpose necessary to comply with personal data protection regulations. Such processing is lawful on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6.1 c) GDPR).

Who will we share your personal data with?
Satlink S.L. will only share your personal data with the third parties, bodies and public institutions of State, regional and local administrations, including jurisdictional bodies, to which it is legally obliged to provide said information.

In the case of customers and suppliers, the data may be communicated to banking institutions in order to manage collections and payments resulting from our contractual relationship.

Satlink S.L. also works with external providers, such as hosting services, consultancies, providers of payment services through our website and agencies, among others, who will process your data following the documented instructions of Satlink S.L., and only for the purpose for which they were collected. In this regard, Satlink S.L. has signed the appropriate personal data processing agreements with these suppliers.

How long will we keep your data?
Depending on the purpose for which we process your data, the retention period may vary:

  • Contact and potential customers: If you contact Satlink S.L. to request information, your data will be kept for a period of two years from the last communication made by the user, and this period will be renewed with each new contact or relationship made by the user.
  • Commercial communications: If you are not a customer of Satlink S.L., your data will be processed for this purpose until you withdraw your consent or object to receiving commercial communications. If you are a customer, your data will still be retained in order to manage our contractual relationship, but no commercial communications will be sent to you from the moment you object to receiving any such communications.
  • Customers and suppliers: The personal data of our customers and suppliers will be blocked and retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter until the any possible legal liabilities have expired.
  • Job applicants: Data included in your CV and any other data that you have provided in order to take part in our personnel selection processes will be held for a period of two years from the date of receipt. If Satlink S.L. considers that a CV might be of interest for future selection processes, it will ask the candidate to update his/her CV before said period comes to an end.
  • Exercising rights and managing privacy: If you have exercised your data protection rights, or if we need to process your data in compliance with legal obligations under data protection regulations, your data will be duly blocked and retained for as long as necessary to fulfil our obligations and thereafter until such time as any legally applicable period has expired.

What security measures will be applied to your personal data?
Satlink S.L. has implemented the necessary technical and organisational security measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing, as well as the risks of varying likelihood and severity to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in compliance with art. 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

How can you exercise your rights with regard to your personal data?
