Oceanographic Information Service
A single solution for all fishing needs
The diverse and intuitive features of our Oceanography Service make it the best tool for planning in all kinds of fisheries. This service allows oceanographic and meteorological data to be downloaded, adjusted to a specific area of interest, and also enables the selection of several forecast days. Downloaded data results in various visualisations, such as heat maps, isolines or individual parameter animations, which can also be overlaid. With all the data provided by the Oceanographic Information Service platform, the environment can be perfectly understood, from the surface to the seabed and under current and future conditions, in order to find the best fishing areas and plan the working conditions in detail.
Integrating buoy information into its oceanographic context
Oceanography is the perfect add-on to the ELB3010 Manager, as it seamlessly matches the information sent by DSFs, providing them with the oceanographic context needed to easily interpret their measurements and anticipate fish behaviour. Moreover, learning about oceanographic conditions at the locations where DSFs are deployed allows for a deeper understanding of their status at all times.

Based on the models developed by Copernicus and NOAA, we have been able to include the largest number of existing parameters
· Chlorophyll
· Ocean Currents
· Current Shear
· Temperature
· Thermocline depth
· Dissolved oxygen
· Salinity
· Altimetry
· Air temperature
· Waves
· Wind
· Pressure
· Clouds
· Precipitation
· SST (Sea Surface Temperature)

Vertical oceanography
New! This functionality allows us to visualize how the water column changes with increasing depth. Currents, relative currents, temperature, dissolved oxygen and salinity are some of the parameters that we can see how they vary from the surface to 300 m depth.

Data download
The data download window allows, in an easy and intuitive way, to choose which parameters to display, how much time of historical and forecast data and with what quality they will be obtained. Selecting the area of interest is very simple, and, in addition, the size of the download will always be announced, for cases with data limit.

Forecast and depth
The oceanography service offers the possibility to visualize historical oceanographic and meteorological data as well as future forecasts. In addition, it provides data from the surface water layer to a depth of 300 m, thus adapting to different needs thanks to the quality of the models developed by our suppliers, Copernicus and NOAA.

Map overlay
Our oceanography service allows you to overlay up to five different maps to have all the information at a glance. The different visualizations of each parameter complement each other to give the most complete information of the area being visualized, so you can plan your fishing operations in detail.
